Vijayadashami is a popular festival of India and is celebrated with great fanfare . Vijayadashami also known as Dussehra or Dasara. Some people also know as Ganga Dussehra .Dussehra festival is celebrated on the last day of Navratri. That is why Dussehra is considered a 10 day festival. Dussehra is celebrated every year at the end of Navratri.This year Dussehra will be celebrated on 24-10-2023 ( Dussehra 2023- is in Tuesday October 24 ) . Like Diwali, people celebrate Dussehra with great joy and happiness, it is a major festival of Hindus.

As Dussehra is considered a 10 day festival, the first 9 days are celebrated as Navratri and the last day i.e. the 10th day is celebrated as Vijayadashami (Dussehra). This year Navratri starts from 15-10 23. And end date of Navratri is 24th October. So Dussehra or Ganga Dussehra is 24-10-2023 (Dussehra , 24 October 2023).
